It is with sincere regret that i must announce that Ravens has been postponed.

We have scheduled the new dates for Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th April 2008. Ravens will be an event for fans of Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill.

We are in talks with guests and hope to announce our first guests soon. We have two venues (both Central) and will confirm these by the end of August.

It is with regret that Ravens has had to be postponed. When i launched Ravens i knew the event would run at a loss as it was the first event into a new genre and an odd mix i confess however the events detailed below have left me with no option but to postpone.

As many of you were aware i did have a co Sponsor for Asylum 2008 in the form of Tenth Planet and have now parted ways from Tenth planet. This is due to the actions of one half of Tenth planet misleading myself and Paul until two weeks before the event where they informed us they had spent the majority of the money from the event ticket sales. This resulted in a very stressful period for Me and Paul and still is as we both then personally bankrolled Asylum 2008. This resulted in me using the funds i had set aside to run Ravens in October. Tenth Planet have since gone into Liquidation.

Coupled with the above event the Hotel we were trying to use were not very negotiable in their room rates and made the event very expensive for people to attend and we were unable to find an alternative suitable venue. We have also seen less than 100 tickets sold and with the use of the reserve funds i set up i was left in the position of postponement.

I want to guarantee people that Asylum 2009 is happening as planned and its provisional dates are the 8th - 10th May 2009, i hope to confirm the venue shortly and announce the first guest(s).

I deeply regret postponing the event and will be working flat out to make Ravens 2009/Asylum 2009/ ? ? 2009 events not to be missed.
